DAY #6 - SEEKING AFTER THE GOOD
Mondays used to be my least favorite day of the week simply because it always seemed like the end of the week was so far away. Mondays seem to be my most productive days now. It is crazy how our perspectives change as we enter new phases, and stages of our lives.
Today have been better able to be patient with the process of just life in general. We always have a long list of things to get accomplished, and we have goals that we set, but cannot for the life of us keep. Life is a struggle at times. However, there is beauty in every aspect. Im beginning to be grateful for the time I have as a single student. As much as I would like to move on to the next phase of life, and become someone's wife, and later become a mother, I know it is not time... yet. It is coming soon, but I have learned to be a little more patient with God's timing.
He always makes it possible for us to keep is commandments and make His will, our will. I love the prophet Nephi, who sets an example to us all of patient perseverance. He writes in the Book of Mormon "...that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."
So as much as we might not like God's timing, He is going to make our weaknesses into strengths and help us to persevere through trials of patience.
